Many producer organisations have developed from small informal organisations to consolidated exporting organisations. Within this process, several steps have been taken to strengthen the organisation, with or without the help from others. Steps with respect to, for instance, the set-up of a good organisational structure, a credit system, training of management and staff, branding etc.
Facilitating peer learning through systematisation
Systematisation of useful learning experiences in organisational development processes allows producer organisations and their partners to learn from others. Learning is the goal
We focus on the excellence of the learning elements in the experience, for the purpose of optimal learning, and not so much on the excellence of the results. In doing so, we also aim to improve existing methodology for capacity strengthening for producer organisations.
